The National Blue Line Police Fund helps the children of fallen officers pursue their dreams.
We provide financial scholarships to the children of fallen officers, plus career development, mentorship, and wellness retreats for law enforcement families.

The biological or legally adopted child of an officer killed in the line of duty, enrolling at an accredited public college, university, or vocational school.
Official high-school transcript (minimum 3.5 GPA), proof of enrollment/acceptance, and proof of the parent’s status as a fallen officer.
Email your application and documents to admin@nationalfof.org by August 5th each year. Up to 5 scholarships are awarded annually; funds disburse after the second day of class enrollment.
Congratulations to Alex Schneider: Recipient of the 2026 Blue Line Scholarship

The National Fallen Officer Foundation is proud to extend its heartfelt congratulations to Alex Schneider on being selected as a recipient of the 2026 Blue Line Scholarship. Alex, who will be attending the University of Iowa to pursue a degree in Finance, was selected based on his academic promise, strength of character, and moving dedication to honoring fallen heroes. In his letter to the Board of Directors, Alex expressed his deep gratitude for the opportunity, noting that this award will allow him to focus solely on his academic and career aspirations. Perhaps most importantly, Alex views this scholarship as a way to give recognition to the legacy left behind by his father,Lake City Police Officer Shawn Schneider. "It is one of my priorities to remember my dad’s sacrifice," Alex shared, "and this scholarship will serve as a constant reminder of the community that stands behind families like mine." We are incredibly proud to support Alex as he continues his dad's legacy of service through his commitment to academic achievement and helping others.
